Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. Free Cancellation Window
You can cancel a ride within 2 minutes of booking (or before a driver is assigned) without any charge. This grace period allows quick changes without penalty.
2. Cancellation After Grace Period
If you cancel after the 2-minute grace period and a driver has been assigned, a cancellation fee will apply:
- Typically equal to the minimum fare in your area.
- The app will warn you if canceling will incur a fee.
Example: “Canceling now will incur a PKR 100 fee.”
You won’t be charged if cancellation is due to driver delays or no progress toward pickup.
3. Driver Arrival & No-Show Policy
- Drivers wait up to 5 minutes after arriving at pickup.
- If you don’t show up or communicate within that time, the driver may cancel.
- You will be charged a no-show fee (equal to the standard cancellation fee).
4. Scheduled Rides
- Cancel 60+ minutes before pickup time = no charge.
- Cancel within 60 minutes = fee may apply, especially if a driver is assigned.
- You can cancel freely if no driver is assigned yet.
5. Driver Cancellations
- If the driver cancels, you won’t be charged.
- We’ll reassign another driver promptly.
6. Refunds & Dispute Resolution
If you believe you were wrongly charged:
- Contact support via in-app Help or email within 24 hours.
- Valid reasons (e.g., driver error, app issues) may result in fee waiver or refund.
- Refunds are issued to your payment method or 7ride wallet within 5–7 business days.
7. Outstanding Balances (for Cash Trips)
- Cancellation or no-show fees will be added as account balance.
- Must be cleared before requesting new rides.
8. Rider Responsibilities
- Cancel early if your plans change.
- Be present at the correct pickup location.
- Communicate with your driver if running late.
- Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in account warnings.
9. Transparency & Updates
- This policy is available in-app and on our website.
- Changes will be notified in advance via app or email.
- We aim to keep policies fair, clear, and competitive.
